Nina Mazur, Vitaly Kino (The solo)
This is a story of a woman whose name was Edith Piaf. The mono-play is the case when the performer is all alone in front of the audience. This is the case Mrs. Iryna Klishchevskaja, an Honoured Artist of Ukraine, has chosen for herself. There is no attempt to recreate a physical appearance of a great singer. But with a few gestures and movements the actress creates images of the little girl, and the old Grandma Menue, and “Papá Leplea”, and the last love of Edith Piaf – Theo Sarapo. Of course to put the whole life and love of the great singer and actress into one-act play is almost impossible. Instead of this the performance gives a chance for thinking and compassion.
